This tutorial is now used in conjunction with certain distance education mathematics courses. You can earn college credit while learning to use your TI-83 or TI-84 graphing calculator. The following courses are currently available; to enroll, contact the institution offering the course.

Math 42G Precalculus Algebra Graphing Calculator Component

This course supports the Math 42 Precalculus Algebra course by presenting the features and use of a graphing calculator to solve problems specific to that course. Topics covered will parallel the development of concepts in Math 42 (students are encouraged to take Math 42 as a corequisite). Students must have access to e-mail and the Internet. 1.0 unit credit.

"I think this class should be a required lab attached to the [algebra] class. It would take away the added burden the instructor has of having to explain technology as well as new math concepts.
